Usually, before sales incentives are paid out to the respective personnel, there is an agreement or sales deal set up between the company and the personnel regarding the percentage of incentive share and whether the commission is paid on revenue or margin, and so on. The agreement summarizes the pricing conditions of the incentives and the settlement parameters. Each agreement can pertain to many customers or just one customer. Agreements can be national, local, or limited to a specific customer location. Agreements can be created, maintained, and displayed via a web interface.
